Product Description
The P-Bandai Dwadge model, originally released in April 2019, has been given a fresh upgrade by Bandai Spirits, introducing the Dwadge Custom variant. This latest iteration brings a series of enhancements and new mold updates that make it a standout addition to the Master Grade "ACE PILOT LOG" series.
Key Features:
Head: The head of the Dwadge has been updated with two 60mm vulcans, adding a more powerful and dynamic element to its design.
Chest: The kit introduces a more detailed take on the classic Dom chest armor, updated specifically to reflect the unique Dwadge Custom look.
Shoulders: A defining feature of the Dwadge Custom is its distinctive shoulder armor, which has been completely redesigned with a new mold to capture the model's characteristic bulk and strength.
Front Armor: The front skirt armor has been added, offering better leg articulation, allowing for more dynamic posing and flexibility in display.
Beam Cannon: One of the standout features of the Dwadge Custom is its Beam Cannon. Reproduced in a new mold, this weapon includes a movable gimmick for both the grip and foregrip of the barrel, making it a versatile addition to the model's arsenal.
Originally a standard MS-09G Dwadge ground combat mobile suit deployed during the One Year War, this unit underwent significant modifications by its pilot, Desert Rommel, leader of the Zeon Remnants group known as "The Rommel Corps" in Africa. Over the years following the war's end, Rommel's Dwadge received numerous upgrades, and by U.C. 0088, it was redesignated as the MS-09H Dwadge Custom, becoming a much more formidable machine than the standard Dwadge.
Equipped with chemical fuel rocket boosters on its shoulders and an enhanced heat exhaust system installed in the crotch area, the Dwadge Custom was optimized for high-mobility combat, especially in challenging environments like tropical regions. These modifications allowed it to maintain superior performance without being affected by the local climate. The mobile suit's generator was also upgraded, enabling the use of beam weapons—a significant improvement over the MS-09B Dom, which struggled with this capability. Additionally, its armor and operating systems were enhanced, bringing its overall performance closer to mobile suits produced in the late 0080s.
